Wibax participate in the District Heating Fair in Norway

Mikael Sundstrom and Arno Johansen has participated in Norway's biggest district heating exhibition at Thon Hotel Oslo Airport on 13-14 October.

First incoming and outgoing deliveries from Härnösand Terminal

First import of sulfuric acid to Wibax new terminal in Harnosand went well, the ship named Kilstraum delivered 5400 tons of concentrated sulfuric acid. Wibax store sulfuric acid in a storage tank at the terminal and then delivers it to customers with their own tanker.

New purchasing manager

Wibax purchasing department has been reinforced and we welcome Hans Henriksson as purchasing manager! The purchasing department is the group, Hans is also a part of to the management team at Wibax. The work involves largely responsibility for the supply of products. Wibax purchases from global producers and the transport is by sea, rail and/or truck to Wibax terminals that are strategically located in Sweden, but there are also direct deliveries to customers in the Nordic region.

Wibax acquires Silvex, a company in green energy

Wibax has acquired the company Silvex and are formally owners from September 1st. The company is located in Stockholm and imports including beck-oil which is sold to customers in the energy and industry, mainly in the Nordic region. Wibax acquires all shares and its previous owner continues to work through consulting firms. SILVEX has currently a turnover of about 60M SEK and the products fit well into Wibax investment in green energy and aggressive growth plan.

New Sales Manager

We welcome Frank Ljungstedt as sales manager at WIBAX! Along with all the vendors and other staff, he will work to achieve Wibax goal to have a turnover of 1-billion SEK in 2017. Frank has worked with sales virtually all his life, he recently worked for Älvsbyhus where he was sales manager with responsibility for Sweden.

Project Zero Oil – Bio Oil

Region Jämtland Härjedalen has a vision where Jämtland County will become a fossil fuel free region; one of the goals is that at least five companies shall develop a plan to replace fossil-oil with bio-oil.
