Smart cleaning means lower electricity costs and higher production efficiency

Industrial operations are costly now that electricity prices have skyrocketed and inflation is reaching record highs. One way to lower electricity usage and avoid investing in over-capacity is to clean the various sections of facilities in a more frequent and well planned fashion. By letting the chemical company Wibax take overall responsibility for the cleaning process, using their unique series of chemical cleaning products, WiCLEAN, produced by the company themselves, plants can focus on core operations, while having facilities fine-tuned in a way that improves both economy and sustainability.

Wibax now on the road in Finland

Wibax' establishment in Finland can now be seen on the road. The first vehicles with the right livery rolled out last week.
"We are here to stay and will need to recruit quite a bit", says Tero Väyrynen, CEO, Wibax Finland.

The Future Board visited Brussels

Anna Bergvall from Wibax joined members of the IKEM Future Board to visit the European Parliament, the Swedish Permanent Representation, the Brussels Office of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, and the offices of Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council. The goal is to gain deeper insight into EU cooperation and matters of business policy.

Wibax reached an honourable second place in the 2022 edition of the "Swedish Business of the Year" event, organised by the Swedish Federation of Business Owners, Företagarna. David, Andreas and Jonas Wiklund attended the gala in Stockholm City Hall, to receive the prestigious award.

Wibax’ electric truck is fully operational

At the start of the year, Wibax and Scania launched an electric, ADR approved truck with a capacity of 64 tonnes. The electric truck is now fully opperational, with two shifts per day on weekdays. The truck is based at Wibax in Piteå and provides deliveries to nearby customers

Norrbotten Entrepreneurs of the Year!

Jonas, David and Andreas Wiklund, who were named Entrepreneurs of the Year at the Piteå Business Awards, have now proceeded to the regional finals, where they also won the Norrbotten Entrepreneurs of the Year award. They will now be representing Norrbotten in the national finals, held in Stockholm's City Hall in October. A total of 21 regional finalists will be competing for the national title. We are incredibly happy about winning the Norrbotten Entrepreneurs of the Year Award – fingers crossed for success in the national finals as well!
