Northvolt selects Wibax for strategic partnership

Northvolt is currently building Europe's largest battery factory to produce lithium-ion batteries for electric cars and energy storage. The chemicals supplier Wibax, located a short distance from the Skelleftehamn plant, has been chosen for a strategic partnership as a chemicals supplier to the battery manufacturing facility.

Jonas Wiklund, Wibax Group, named northern Sweden’s foremost entrepreneur in EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year!

The Skellefteå final was the sixth and final of a total of six regional finals held during the autumn. All of the winners of tonight’s grand finals will face the winners of the other five regional finals, when the national finals are held in Stockholm City Hall in January 2022. The national winner of the main prize, EY Entrepreneur of the Year, will then be representing Sweden in Monte Carlo in June, where entrepreneurs from all over the world compete for the title of the world’s foremost entrepreneur.

EY Entrepreneur Of The Year – selecting northern Sweden’s foremost entrepreneur

On Thursday, December 2, entrepreneurs from successful companies in the north of Sweden will receive awards at the regional finals of EY Entrepreneur of the Year. Jonas Wiklund, CEO Wibax Group, is one of the entrepreneurs nominated to win the regional title, thereby competing for a chance in the national finals, held in Stockholm.
