The Wibax group remains in a stage of strong development, focusing on growth in all parts of our operations, including products of our own production. We are therefore strengthening the organization, to be even better equipped to deal with future challenges, in both the short and long term. We welcome Markus Holmlund as the new CEO of Wibax Production AB!
Markus Holmlund, Piteå, was most recently at Lindbäcks bygg, where he has been working since 2015, his latest roles being those of Commercial Director and Vice President. Previously, he has worked at ABB among others, as manager of their Öjebyn factory. He has an academic background in industrial and management engineering, and extensive experience from senior positions in producing companies. Alongside Operations Manager Michael Bodin and the production team, we can be sure that he will take the company to the next level.
Over the last few years, Wibax has been remodelling and adapting its Piteå production facilities, and thanks to expanded permits, we are now able to produce more than 150,000 tons of current products such as liquid magnesium and aluminium sulphate, per year. In connection with the implementation of the new environmental permit, the work environment was adapted, security was reviewed, and measures were taken to minimize environmental impact.
