The cooling agent’s task is to transport heat energy from the source to the cooling plant/heat pump. It must withstand temperatures below zero and therefore contains a freezing point lowering additive.
Besides glycols Wibax product series provides WiBRINE, our own water-soluble brine. The product, which is based on calcium chloride and contains a corrosion inhibitor, is ready for use on ice rinks, heat pumps and refrigeration plants.
WiBRINE contains no additives of heavy metals, and have low toxicity to aquatic life.
