Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound widely used for industrial bleaching of pulp.
Other uses for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) are in the production of epoxides, peroxides and perborates, as initiator in polymer reactions, for hair and teeth whitening, as well as for disinfection and water treatment. In the food industry hydrogen peroxide is used to remove bacteria.
