On Thursday, December 2, entrepreneurs from successful companies in the north of Sweden will receive awards at the regional finals of EY Entrepreneur of the Year. Jonas Wiklund, CEO Wibax Group, is one of the entrepreneurs nominated to win the regional title, thereby competing for a chance in the national finals, held in Stockholm.
Successful entrepreneurs promote economic growth all over the world. EY annually organises the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in more than 60 countries. The goal is to highlight entrepreneurs and generate interest in entrepreneurship.
Following an extensive nominations process, it is now time for regional finals in the Swedish edition of EY Entrepreneur of the Year, one of the the world’s foremost entrepreneurship awards. Ten entrepreneurs from the north of Sweden will be competing for awards at the regional finals in Skellefteå on December 2.
In addition to the main award, EY Entrepreneur of the Year, awards are also given to the Male and Female Emerging Entrepreneurs of the Year respectively, as well as the SEB award for Best International Growth. The winners of the six regional finals held in November and December will meet in the national finals in Stockholm, in 2022. At the national finals, awards will also be given to the Social Entrepreneur of the Year, and the winner of the Family Enterprise Award. The national winner of the main prize, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year, will be representing Sweden at the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year event in June, where entrepreneurs from more than 60 countries compete for the title of World Entrepreneur of the Year.
