Wibax has added another Terminal to its Finnish organisation, with the purchase of Hexion’s Hamina terminal. The terminal has a strategically important location within an area of expansion, and is located at the centre of Wibax current terminal areas in Hamina. The terminal consists of two steel cisterns at 2,500 and 7,000 cubic metres respectively. This brings our total storage capacity for liquid products in Hamina to 73,100 cubic metres. The site provides good conditions for managing maritime, rail and tanker truck transports.
Wibax has a comprehensive network of marine terminals with significant storage capacity in Sweden, Finland and Estonia. Total storage capacity amounts to more than 800,000 cubic metres of liquid goods, in cistern parks flexibly adaptable for everything from various chemicals to oils. Additionally, there are depots for dry goods in strategic locations throughout Sweden and Finland.
“The Finnish market continues to respond positively to Wibax’ offer of products and storage. We look forward to continued investments in Finland”, explains Fredrik Nyberg, CEO Wibax Holding OY.
