Ammonia solution (Amonium Hydroxide) is used as a NOx reduction agent during combustion in district heating plants and power plants. It is also used at waste incineration plants and other types of heavy industry.
The main application for Wibax’s ammonia solution is for flue gas scrubbing with the reduction of nitrogen oxides, NOx, in industrial boilers. In the purification processes, the ammonia solution reacts with the nitrogen oxides and forms nitrogen and water, both substances that occur naturally into our environment.
