Wibax is pleased to announce a new collaboration with Pireva for the implementation of the new water purification product, WiALG, in Piteå. The demand for this type of product is significant, making Wibax an important stakeholder in community preparedness.
Wibax will meet Pireva’s needs for aluminium sulphate, and we will supply WiALG to the Degeränget water treatment plant as well as the Norrfjärden and Sandholmen wastewater treatment plants.
Wibax’s self-produced aluminium sulphate, WiALG, is a granular, easily soluble coagulant used in water purification, for example, as a flocculant in water treatment.
As recently as March 2023, Wibax launched the new production line in Piteå for the manufacture of WiALG, which is a dry and granular version, making it easier for us to transport larger quantities over longer distances.
Through the product WiALG, we offer an efficient and economical solution for water purification. Our goal is not just to deliver products but also to create value for our customers and communities.
