In the wake of the Coronavirus crisis
In the wake of the Coronavirus crisis, businesses have been impacted in different ways and to varying degrees. Thus far, we have not noticed any major changes in our delivery schedules, and we hope that things will continue that way. Wibax has a total of 50 tanker trucks of our own, as well as 9 terminals in strategic locations throughout the country. This allows us to swiftly adapt and maintain operations, in order to supply the primary industry and ensure timely deliveries of products for applications such as water purification, food production and heating", explains Jonas Wiklund, CEO, Wibax Group.

Precautionary measures for visitors to Wibax facilities
Wibax is closely monitoring international developments related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, continuously evaluating the situation and any impact it might have on our operations. For the time being, neither our operations nor our delivery capabilities have been impacted, and we believe that the situation is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future. We are closely following recommendations from the Swedish Public Health Agency and the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, regarding the virus, and we are providing our staff with regular updates. Safety is of the utmost importance.

Wibax Trainee Programme for Immigrants
Wibax has started a trainee programme, initially geared towards immigrants. The project is being carried out in collaboration with Piteå Council and the Swedish Public Employment Service, Arbetsförmedlingen, and will give twelve candidates the opportunity to experience working at Wibax, under mentorship. With the help of Fredrik Blom and Hannah Degerman from Piteå Council, we have now held a mentorship training course, to ensure that Wibax will give the trainees the best possible experience.
